Rahim EL

Rahim EL is a multidisciplinary artist of Persian-Russian heritage, born in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, and based in Catalonia. Rooted in painting, sculpture and performance, his practice draws on a lifelong connection with music and dance, shaped in part by the Opera and Ballet Theatre of Dushanbe. Through colour, rhythm and gesture, he explores empathy, nature and sensory perception, creating works that invite interaction and participation. Having lived and worked in New York and Moscow, he studied at the Stroganov Academy and Barcelona Academy of Art. His work has been exhibited internationally and is held in private collections around the world.
